Space and Ancient Trails

Ancient trails are battered into the earth, trails of a season, trails of temporary refuge and the continuation of a cycle. The trails stretch into the distance where clouds, remnants of a past season or a sign of a promise fulfilled, laze on the horizon. Greens mingle with seasons’ browns, dancing waters and trails of moments into patterns of meaning.

In a time
untouched in our distance
ancient trails
newly trodden by the past
echo a distant land
a yearning
in patterns
