What to expect from this 9 day Magical Botswana Exploration Experience:
Your safari starts off at Oddballs Camp. As one of the original camping sites in the Okavango Delta, Oddballs has dome tents erected on raised wooden platforms, overlooking the floodplains and bush.Next is Pom Pom Camp. The camp offers 9 traditional Meru safari tents, built and designed in the style of safari camps of old. Pom Pom offers game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions on your Botswana safari.Last of all is Chobe Safari Lodge, which provides accommodation overlooking the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains. Here you can relax, enjoy activities and reflect on the days of your safari.

Nights 1 - 3: Oddballs Camp, Okavango Delta, BotswanaOddballs Camp is named after a man who lived up to his name! One of the original camping sites in the Okavango Delta, Oddballs has 2mx2m dome tents erected on raised wooden platforms, overlooking the floodplains and bush.
There is a number of shower and toilet units scattered around the camp close to the tents. Guests take their meals in the central dining area, directly overlooking the Boro River, and providing excellent game viewing.
There is also a comfortable lounge area and raised viewing platforms right on the banks of the River. You will enjoy the setting, the informality of the camp and above all the legendary 'Skull bar' where you will be regaled with adventure stories for your Botswana safari.

For your Southern Africa safari, Oddballs Camp offers excursions on foot and mokoro excursions with your own special guide. Whilst on a mokoro trail your food will be provided but you will be responsible for its preparation.
The Okavango Delta is home to over 450 bird species and 1000 plant species. Crocodile, Hippo, Elephant and Buffalo can be seen regularly. The Okavango Delta has earned its reputation as one of the world's premier wilderness areas.
At Oddballs Camp you will also find a provisions store, called 'Molly's' which will provide you with camping equipment and food.

Nights 4 & 5: Pom Pom Camp, Okavango Delta, BotswanaPom Pom is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta in a private concession to the west of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers 9 traditional Meru safari tents, built and designed in the style of safari camps of old.
The large walk-in tents have en-suite showers and flush toilets. The bathrooms are enclosed, but roofless - for a true bush experience. There is no electricity in the camp - instead, paraffin lamps give a wonderfully warm atmosphere.
The camp has been recently renovated and offers a beautiful dining room and bar around the picturesque lagoon. Pom Pom Camp also has a nicely sized plunge pool to help guests escape the midday heat.

Pom Pom offers game drives, night drives, walking safaris and mokoro excursions on your Botswana safari. All the big predators, and Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest can be seen.
If you are lucky, some of the nocturnal animals such as Serval, Civet and Genet may be seen on night drives. Hippo and Crocodiles are found in the deeper lagoons in the area. Birding enthusiasts will enjoy sighting Pel's Fishing Owl, African Fish Eagle, Giant Eagle Owl and White Backed Vultures.
After 2 nights at Pom Pom Camp the guests will fly in a northern direction to Kasane. The flight takes approximately one hour and 40 minutes. A driver from Chobe Safari Lodge will collect you in Kasane.

Nights 6 - 8: Chobe Safari Lodge, Chobe National Park, BotswanaChobe Safari Lodge is situated 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) from Kasane International Airport and 80 kilometres (49.7 miles) from Victoria Falls in Livingstone. This lodge provides Southern Africa safari accommodation in 110 beds, overlooking the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains.
Chobe Safari Lodge offers 2 restaurants: The Table d'Hote restaurant offering a range of international and local dishes and the buffet with its impressive choice of BBQ meals, salads and range of dishes and both overlook the Chobe River.
The lodge also provides a swimming pool, volleyball court, a health and beauty salon and an internet café. The Chobe floodplain is renowned for its concentration of Buffalo and Elephant.
Activities at Chobe Safari Lodge include game drives, boat cruises with excellent game and bird viewing, nature walks, night drives, sundowner cruises, and fishing for Tiger fish and Bream and trips to Victoria Falls.

Please Note:
All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.
If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
