    Your first stop on your 8 day Magnificent Honeymoon Adventure Safari is the romantic and completely unique Camp Okavango. Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta, assuring a year round water wilderness experience.

    At this camp you will be accommodated in relaxing and romantic safari tents in an area renowned for its natural beauty and diversity. Game activities include exploring the Delta by canoe and river raft, fishing for Bream and Tiger fish, and guided nature walks.

    You next destination is the uniquely authentic Savute Safari Lodge where accommodation is in contemporary furnished luxury suites made from wood, thatch and glass. Savute also boasts private viewing decks for an intimate and exclusive wildlife experience.

    Sindabezi Island Camp is located on a secluded paradise island near the beautiful Victoria Falls and surrounded by the Zambezi National Park. This accommodation is the only bush camp in the area that can be enjoyed exclusively as a private booking, perfect for peace seeking honeymooners.

    Days 1 & 2 : Camp Okavango, Botswana

    Upon your arrival in Maun, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled charter flight to Camp Okavango. Enjoy this awesome bird's eye view of the Okavango Delta, taking very special memories and moments of Africa with you that will stay with you forever.

    Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience. Camp Okavango's unashamed luxury blends with the Africa of old in the elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge buildings.

    The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the open boma. Other lodge facilities include a cocktail bar, lounge, wildlife reference library, a secluded bird-viewing hide, shaded hammocks, a delightful sun deck and plunge pool for relaxing during the hot midday hours.

    Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private sun decks. Each tent is exquisitely furnished with an African teak wardrobe, luggage rack, dressing table, bedside pedestals and traditional director's chairs.

    Colourful woven rugs, designer linen and matching interior blinds complete your African hideaway. His and hers towel robes as well as tea and coffee making facilities are also provided to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible. For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the 'Okavango Suite' a thatched cottage offering complete privacy and the option of private game-viewing activities and dining options – ideal for Honeymooners.

    Your stay at Camp Okavango is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, all local brand drinks, scheduled game-viewing activities, park entrance fees and laundry service. All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango by canoe (mokoro) and motorboat.

    Guided nature walks on the various islands afford an opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding, and fishing for Bream and Tiger fish is also offered as an activity at the lodge.

    Days 3 - 5: Savute Safari Lodge, Botswana

    After breakfast and your morning activity (if time allows) you will depart on a charter flight from Camp Okavango to Savute Safari Lodge. Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just 24 people in contemporary furnished twin-bedded luxury suites constructed of wood, thatch and glass, making them ideal for the hot and dry conditions.

    Double volume suites with their spacious interior and large, glass sliding doors set the lodge apart from typical safari accommodation. Large private viewing decks and en-suite facilities, with showers, 'his and hers' towel robes and tea and coffee making facilities combine to make Savute Safari Lodge an unforgettable experience.

    Your stay at Savute Safari Lodge is inclusive of accommodation, all meals, local brand beverages, laundry service, scheduled game-viewing activities and park entry fees. Game drive sare in open 4x4 safari vehicles in the Savute area, including the Savute Marsh and a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills.

    Days 6 & 7: Sindabezi Island Lodge, Victoria Falls, Zambia

    After your morning game drive and breakfast (if time allows), you will depart Savute Safari Lodge on a scheduled charter flight to Kasane Airport. Upon your arrival in Kasane, and after clearing Botswana customs and immigration, you will be met by a representative and assisted onto your scheduled road transfer Tongabezi Lodge/Sindabezi Island Zambia, Victoria Falls. You will be transferred via Kazangula border post. The journey is approximately 70km from the Botswana border where you will have to complete immigration and customs procedures on both sides.

    Sindabezi Island Camp is a private island paradise nestled in the waters of the Zambezi, upstream of the Victoria Falls. Not only is it is the only African bush camp in the area, but the island is also the only bush camp that can be enjoyed exclusively as a private booking (on request only). Here, in this haven of natural tranquillity, you will truly experience the sights and sounds of the African bush. From Sindabezi, the flood plain of the mighty Zambezi and the views of the wildlife in the nearby National Park will capture your soul.

    Access from Tongabezi is by a short banana boat ride, or a guided canoe trip, where you may spot a pod of wallowing Hippo or Elephant drinking on the river bank. The camp consists of 4 thatched chalets, each with its own private river view.

    Each chalet's open-fronted design brings you close to nature and with no electricity on the island, there is a real sense of adventure and romance, as you dine by candlelight on the sand and fall asleep in the glow of a hurricane lamp, to the music of the inimitable African night.

    Day 8: Depart

    Depart on a scheduled boat transfer from Sindabezi Island Lodge to Tongabezi Lodge and then from Tongabezi Lodge to Livingstone Airport.

    All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

    If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
