Bird species to look out for in the area include Wattled Crane, Greater Painted-Snipe, Mosque Swallow, Allen's Gallinule, African Golden Oriole and African Crake.

Day 6 & 7: Savuti, Chobe National Park, Botswana

The drive to Savuti will take guests over the sand ridge and up onto the Mababe depression into more arid Kalahari scrub lands interspersed with Terminalia sandveld and mopane scrub. Savuti is home to a range og predators and elephant bulls.

Birding in this area will focus on numerous Kalahari species such as Black-Faced Waxbill, Violet-Eared Waxbill, Brandfield's Hornbill, Bronze-Winged Courser, Secretary bird, Cut-Throat and Red-Headed Finches.

Enjoy a boat trip on the Chobe River allowing you to get close to many of the bird species and African wildlife. Some of the bird species in this area include African Skimmer, Rock Pratincole, African Finfoot, Thrush Nightingale, Collared Palm-Thrush, River Warbled and Northern Grey-Headed Sparrow.

    Day 10 & 11: Caprivi Strip, Namibia

The tented camp is situated on the Kwano River in a woodland. This woodland is rich in bird life. The Racket-tailed roller has been spotted from the dining area on previous trips. Guests can also look forward to spotting Shelley's Sunbird, Rufous-Bellied Tit, Souza's Shrike, Copper Sunbird, Sharp-Tailed Starling, Olive Woodpecker and Cardinal Quelea.
