Days 1 & 2: Amadeus Garden, Victoria Falls

This 11 day Botswana Lodge & Guest House Safari begins with a stay at the Amadeus Garden in Victoria Falls for 2 nights. Amadeus Garden is a comfortable small lodge, only 3 kilometres from the mighty Victoria Falls. It comprises of 11 bedrooms. Days 3 - 5: Chobe Safari Lodge, Botswana

Your Botswana tour will start with a transfer and flight in a light aircraft with Mack Air to Chobe Safari Lodge (Kasane) where you will be staying for 3 nights. Chobe Safari Lodge is situated 3 kilometres (1.8 miles) from Kasane International Airport and 80 kilometres (49.7) from the Victoria Falls in Livingstone. This lodge provides 110 beds and overlooks the Chobe River and Caprivi floodplains. Recently opened 'Safari Rooms' are outstanding value, and should be your first choice for accommodation on this Botswana safari.

Alternatives are either luxury, en-suite 'River Rooms' overlooking the Chobe River, or in traditional 'rondavels' -circular, thatched rooms with en-suite facilities. Dine overlooking the Chobe River. Days 6 - 8: Nxabega Okavango Camp, Botswana

After breakfast you will be transferred for your flight in a light aircraft from Kasane to Nxabega Okavango Camp. You will spend 3 nights at Nxabega Okavango Camp. Nxabega – meaning 'Place of the Giraffe' in the language of the Bayei (River Bushmen). The camp is located in an exclusive 7000 hectare private wildlife concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.

Nxabega is ideally positioned to explore the magic of the miraculous Okavango Delta. Guests are able to experience the irresistible combination of water and wildlife, with game-drives in open 4x4 vehicles and mokoros (traditional dugout canoes) and powerboat excursions. Nxabega is an intimate camp for a maximum of 18 guests in 10 classic safari tents.

The guest area includes outside dining and a fireside, a gift shop as well as a swimming pool with expansive deck. Activities in Nxabega will create memorable experiences. Days 9 - 11: Solitaire Country Lodge, Namibia

Transfer with a flight in a light aircraft from Nxabega to Maun. In Maun picking up your rented car drive to Solitaire Country Lodge. The mystic little settlement of Solitaire does justice to its name in more than one way.

As a stop-over on your tour of southwestern Namibia and on the way to Sossusvlei it is a must. The nostalgic general dealer offers homebaked bread and apple pie, and of course, drinks, fuel, tyre repair.

Solitaire Country Lodge offers 23 en-suite bedrooms, each with 2 single beds or double bed and 2 Family rooms each sleeping 5 people. All rooms face the central courtyard with the huge swimming pool in the centre. Camping, bungalows and limited meals are on offer.

All charters have been booked on a seat on charter basis. Due to the nature of travel in light aircraft, mainly because of safety and space concerns, baggage is restricted to 12 kilograms (26 pounds), per person. This baggage must be soft sided so to allow for it to be packed properly.

If you do have extra bags or have suitcases heavier than the specified allowance, please advise your travel consultant as soon as the booking is made so that the needed arrangements can be made for the baggage to be transferred or stored at an additional cost.
